PSC INSURANCE BROKERS GETS BEHIND THE APCS
The Australian Production Car Series and PSC Insurance Brokers are pleased to announce a new partnership as the Series prepares for its first round of 2016 later this week (May 27-28) at the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit.
PSC Insurance Brokers is an international insurance brokerage providing cost-effective insurance advice and solutions.
“At PSC we are very big about partnerships – whether that is with our clients, with the community at large, with industry associations, or with – as in this instance – the motorsport community,” said Rohan Stewart, CEO of PSC Insurance Brokers.
“Through our UK business which has over 30 years motorsport experience, and throughout Australia, PSC has access to a great range of motorsport insurance products and markets, and this is a great opportunity for us to support the Series not only financially, but also by offering an insurance option for competitor’s sporting vehicles, on track cover, storage and transit covers as well as their personal accident insurance and public liability.
“Also, we are ready to help when it comes to the businesses of those involved, with a focus here at PSC on providing cost-effective insurance solutions commercial businesses.
“We have a pre-existing relationship with category manager Iain Sherrin and we can see the APCS is a growing and well-run Series, and we very much look forward to developing close and long-lasting relationships with not only the Series as a whole, but also its competitors, its spectators, and the wider motorsport community.”

APCS Category Manager Iain Sherrin said the new partnership is an exciting development for the growing category.
“I am so pleased to welcome PSC Insurance Brokers to the APCS as we prepare to kick-off our 2016 season at Phillip Island this week,” said Sherrin.
“As a dual-driver Series I am very happy to have PSC on-board as I feel that is a really good fit and allows us to offer more to our competitors.
“For those who own cars and are leasing out drives or offering complete Arrive and Drive packages, they can have increased peace of mind knowing their assets are protected.
“For those who are leasing drives or complete packages, having this kind of protection could lower their bond costs and as a result make their lease more affordable and manageable.
“For those racing their own cars – whether they are leasing out the co-driver slot or not – they know their investment is protected no matter what happens on the track.
“At the same time, we all know that there is much more that goes into racing than just the car and PSC can help with it all – on-track damage, tools and equipment, trucks and trailers and more - as well as day-to-day needs. For instance, many of our racers have their own businesses, and PSC can help there too.
“I have worked with PSC for some time now, and their know-how, their products, and their commitment to their clients is second-to-none. I am very much looking forward to working with them to help them become a true part of the motorsport community at our events.”
